#04 Los Lobos - Tin Can Trust
Los Lobos' best record since The Neighborhood.

#05 Mavis Staples - You Are Not Alone
Great Gospel record, hard to pick one song - You Are Not Alone

#06 Magnolia Mountain - Redbird Green
Superb record, great songs, great sound.
Favorite songs - Redbird Green, Opaline. Side four of the vinyl is perfect.

#07 The Hold Steady - Heaven is Wherever
Fav song - The Weekenders.

#08 The Black Angels - Phosphene Dream
Fav song - The Sniper.

#09 Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings - I Learned the Hard Way
Fav song - Money

#10 Neil Young - Le Noise
Fav song - Walk With Me

Other records I really liked and listened to a lot:
Preacher Roe - Blood Root Remedy
Besides really good songs and production this is a real guitar record - great guitar sounds.
Duquette Johnston - Rugged & Fancy
Got Lost & Stayed is my song of the year - they don't get any more beautiful than this.

Horse To Water - Junkie
Great songs with superb narratives that come from experience and age.
The musicianship is great and while he doesn't have a natural singing voice he worked at it and it gives his songs authority.

Ghost Shirt - Daniel
Liked this a lot. Good songs, good playing.

Bruce Springsteen - The Promise

CeeLo Green - Lady Killer
In spite of the FU song I like this record. It's a great soul record.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band - Preservation: An album benefiting Preservation Hall
Tom Waits singing Tootie Ma is classic.

Treme - Original Soundtrack
Love the show and the music.

Roy Davis - We Are A Lightning Bolt
My nephew and his band, plays around the Portsmouth Maine area. Good all around I enjoy this record.
